"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
-Dr. Martin Luther King
What is a Recovery Community Organization? |
A Recovery Community Organization (RCO) is an independent, non-profit organization led and governed by representatives of local communities of recovery. An RCO organizes recovery-focused advocacy activities, carries out recovery-focused community education and outreach programs, and provide peer-based recovery support services for members of the entire community. RCOs are developing across the country at the local level to address the needs of people in or seeking recovery, as well as assisting their support systems.
PAST Recovery Services strives to serve all ages, ethnicity, religions and gender without judgment or bias. Seeking recovery for the entire community is our number one priority and we offer multiple meetings, events and activities to accommodate all pathways of recovery to foster community connection. |
